Web Developer / Flash Programmer

Peter Mayer Interactive, the online communications arm of Louisiana’s largest ad agency, Peter Mayer Advertising, is seeking a Web developer / Flash programmer to develop mini-sites, online ad units and full-scale multimedia and database driven Web sites.

This Interactive programmer will use their strong Flash ActionScript skills and HTML skills to deliver high end web sites and Flash applications. This position will work closely with Interactive Designers who will be driving the "look" for these deliverables.

Requirements:

Independent and Creative problem-solving skills in all areas of web development.
Passion for web development, strong attention to detail, flexibility, and team work.
Well versed in ActionScript 2.0, HTML, XHTML and CSS.
Experience with JavaScript.
Experience with Loading external resources into Flash such as (XML, images, movs, swfs).
Experience with Dynamic Text Fields and dynamic content in Flash.
Experience hand-coding and trouble shooting projects.
Awareness of new trends in ActionScript 3.0 and Flex applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A Plus:

- Design skills.
- Experience working with Flash video content and Flash Media Server.
- Experience with PHP and SQL.
- Relational database skills.
- Programming etiquette such as commenting and organization.

Requires hands-on interactive design experience and a strong understanding of user experience. Fluency with the latest tools, such as Flash, AfterEffects, PhotoShop, and Illustrator is a must. Web and broadcast animation skills are a plus. A devotion to building brands and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help get the job done are key attributes.

Requirements:
